At the start of every season, Daytona is probably the busiest track among all in NASCAR. The removal of the Busch Light Clash might have angered fans, but probably helped reduce that load by a lot.

The Daytona track hosts a long list of races in NASCAR. Apart from the historic and prestigious Daytona 500, it was the track for the Busch Light Clash as well. This changed in 2022, amidst a lot of criticism, as the LA Memorial Coliseum was chosen as the track for the future.

It also hosts one of the few endurance races of stock models. The 24 Hours of Daytona, also known as the Rolex 24, is one of the toughest races in NASCAR. It has been held at Daytona since its inception in 1962; it was the 61st edition of the race in 2023.

The 2023 event ended up being a great watch. Helio Castroneves entered the history books, becoming only the second driver to win the race on three consecutive occasions.

For Austin Cindric, however, it wasn’t the greatest race. Partnering with Eric Lux, Devlin DeFrancesco, and Pietro Fittipaldi, the quad finished in 6th-place. At the end of the whole affair, Cindric posted a detailed review of the race on behalf of his team.

Among the NASCAR drivers to like the post were Ty Gibbs and Joey Logano, his rivals from the Cup Series. His teammate at the event wrote, “It was awesome being your teammate my man 👊🏼.” Fans also wrote, “Great effort man. Thanks for coming out and competing in this race every year.” and “Proud of you guys 🔥”

Compliments for the quad were aplenty. “Under the circumstance you guys did awesome! Can’t wait to see you all back again in whatever cars you’re in 2024!” Another fan wrote, “Put in a hell of an effort, great to watch the battle! You’ll get one.”

“I so appreciate how much you want to win the 24. It was great meeting you this week, and I hope you get the win next year! Best of luck with your “day job” until then! (Hopefully see you at Charlotte.)” said another fan.
