Kevin Harvick is without a win in the last three NASCAR Cup Series races. While that isn’t such big a deal, the standards Harvick has set for himself this season makes his three-race winless run come as a surprise, to an extent.
The No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing driver is just one win shy of 10 race wins in the season. He even started the 2020 playoffs with two wins from the three races of the opening round of the playoffs.
While he was not in the spotlight in the second round, Harvick believes the upcoming round features track where he can return very good performances once again.

“I think these race tracks are right up our alley. Especially the first two,” Harvick said, leading up to the Round of 8 opening race at Kansas Speedway.
“I think as you line up the first two races, they’re definitely right in our wheelhouse.”

Kevin Harvick reviews his Round of 12 performances
While Harvick did not come close to a win in the Round of 12, he feels he did a decent job in that round, given the challenging tracks he had to race on. In the latest race, at Charlotte Roval, Harvick finished 11th but feels he did well in wet conditions.
“I think as you look back, the Roval has been a good, decent race track for us. The last couple of years it was fine. This weekend I got us behind, running in the back of the car, and tried to figure out what I needed to do in the wet conditions. In the end, we had a sixth or seventh place car. I think as you look at that it was fine,” Harvick said.

He described Talladega as just being Talledega. He finished 20th there, after a wreck that involved Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. as well. Meanwhile, at Vegas, where he finished 10th, he feels he was good.
“Talladega, you know, was just Talladega. Vegas we just missed it a little bit.”
