iRacing has long been a fan favorite for motorsports fans, offering a realistic racing simulation and bridging connections with the NASCAR community. Now, iRacing is looking to expand its reach in American motorsports across all four series. In a tweet, Steve Myers encouraged teams to reach out during the Daytona 500 to discuss involvement in the game, stating: “We will have a team down in @DAYTONA for the 500. Any team that wants to be involved in the game should reach out to schedule a visit from us while we are there!”. After which requests started to drop in.

In a subsequent tweet, he revealed : “Seventeen teams have now reached out. RTA teams are in the game already, so this is for all other teams in all four series”. Teams in the Race Team Alliance (RTA), which includes top NASCAR Cup Series teams like Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing, are already represented in the simulator. Along with that 17 teams beyond the RTA have applied to be represented in the game.

The response has been remarkable. He later updated that over 30 teams from across the Xfinity, Truck, and ARCA Menards Series have already shown interest in being part of iRacing. This initiative is aimed to ensure that fans get a combined and realistic experience with a diverse roster to choose from. The Race Team Alliance, which represents 13 of the top Cup Series teams, has been integral to iRacing’s partnership success. Legendary teams like Hendrick Motorsports and Joe Gibbs Racing have extended support, and their involvement has brought credibility and excitement to the gaming platform. By reaching out to other teams, iRacing is extending an invitation to grow the sport’s digital presence and provide smaller teams with a platform to get exposure.
