HSM drew level with Petty Enterprises with Elliott’s win at COTA

There was a time when Petty Enterprises reigned supreme on the NASCAR circuits with King himself leading the charge for his team. Apart from his seven championship trophies, his team won 268 races, a record that seemed untouchable at the time. But as we know, all records are made to be broken, and with Hendrick Motorsports scripting its success story, they drew level with their win no. 268 at COTA. Chase Elliott was the driver behind the wheel of the No. 9 Chevy that made history.

To celebrate this achievement, HMS decided to put the door panel of Elliott’s race-winning car on auction. The one-of-a-kind door was signed by 14-time NASCAR Cup Series champion owner Rick Hendrick, seven-time champion Richard Petty, 2020 champ Elliott, and his crew chief Alan Gustafson. All the proceeds from this auction were dedicated to Victory Junction, which is a non-profit organization that helps children with serious illnesses at no cost.
