Kyle Busch is widely regarded as one of the best drivers in the history of NASCAR. He has left an indelible mark on the sport. Busch has established himself as a true icon in the world of motorsports with over 200 wins in all three of NASCAR’s major series and two Cup Series championships. Unlike other modern-day drivers, Busch has still kept his mojo on—and Richard Childress knows it.
Recently, Racer magazine had a conversation with Kyle Busch’s new team’s boss, Richard Childress. During this conversation, Childress criticized the new generation of NASCAR drivers, while simultaneously talking about what he likes about Busch.

Richard Childress has high hopes for Kyle Busch
Just a few months ago, it was announced that Busch had signed a multi-year agreement with Richard Childress Racing. This was following a massive dispute with his previous team, Joe Gibbs Racing.
Moreover, this move marks Busch’s third stint with a Cup Series team—the first being with Hendrick Motorsports. The second was a triumphant 15-year run with Joe Gibbs Racing that yielded two titles and countless victories. RCR, whose last Cup Series championship win was in 1994, is eager to continue its winning legacy with the addition of Busch. The team boss expressed his desire to surpass last season’s wins and keep the victories rolling in.
