However, these were not to congratulate him. Frankie Muniz’s grandmother had passed away. He lost “the most supportive person” in his life.

Frankie Muniz’s grandmother passed away at 4:42 p.m. on October 7th, when he was racing for the lead. She was someone who had nurtured Frankie for 37 years and who supported him in all his endeavors—be it racing, acting, or music. At the end of it all, the multi-talented actor-turned-professional racer hopes that he has done enough to make her proud.
As he began to come to terms with the heartbreaking loss, Muniz shared a post on Twitter along with a touching message that tugged on the heartstrings of NASCAR fans. “When my race was finished this evening, I had many missed calls from members of my family. At 4:42 PM, right as we were taking the green flag, my grandmother passed away today. She was the most supportive person of everything I’ve done in my life, and I hope I made her proud,” Frankie Muniz wrote.
The 37-year-old began his professional life as an actor, and with his family’s support, he excelled. His social media account very well validates his family priorities.

For Frankie Muniz, his car racing career debut goes back to 2006, but 2023 saw him get his big break in stock car racing as he signed a full-time contract with Rette Jones Racing. The season came to its conclusion on Saturday in Toledo, where he finished in an impressive P8, but his day became dark soon afterward. Later, after Frankie had shared the heartfelt message on X (Twitter), people came to his support in droves. The show of love in his tweet must give him strength as he tries to navigate through the tough loss.
