It’s been a challenging season for Kyle Busch this season, to say the least. As many insiders, critics and fans have pointed out, he’s had the most inconsistent performance out of all the drivers present and his chances at the playoffs are not looking too promising.

While he has had his share of trouble behind the wheel, some of his misfortune seems to be completely out of his control and a hint of mismanagement that could have been resolved with a little more attention to detail! Fans have taken note of these particular events and are livid as they just keep hearing the stories come in.

During practice hours before the race at the Pocono Raceway, the two-time NASCAR champion reported steering issues with his car, leaving him mid-pack and unable to manoeuvre around the track. This could spell trouble for the No. 8 team, who right now desperately need a strong performance to turn their season around. The NASCAR account on X (formerly Twitter) reported his technical difficulties on the tracks, leaving many to worry about his playoff chances as they draw close.

Kyle Busch‘s struggles this NASCAR Cup Series season have been well-documented, with four DNFs (Did Not Finish) and just one top-10 finish in the last six races. That’s a far cry from the success he and his fans are used to seeing, and it’s even being declared as the worst stretch of his racing career. It’s a shame that even his highlights this season, like winning the pole and finishing fourth at Dover, or coming in third in the thrilling three-wide finish at Atlanta, are beginning to look like mere consolation prizes for a driver of his caliber.

What’s your perspective on:

Did RCR really sabotage Kyle Busch at Pocono, or is this just another NASCAR conspiracy theory?

Have an interesting take?

But hold on, maybe there’s still hope for the RCR team and Busch at Pocono. The Tricky Triangle is a unique track, known for its long straightaways and strategic racing, but the No. 8 Chevrolet driver has shown his talent here before in 2018 when he drove from 28th to the win. Including four career Cup Series victories at Pocono, he clearly knows how to tame this challenging circuit and could potentially save face this time around!

So while the steering issues plaguing Busch’s car during practice is still a major concern, there could be a silver lining after all. Given that the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) team works fast to resolve the problem, there’s no doubt that Busch could take over the weekend with no problem! So keep your fingers crossed that it gets sorted out ASAP!

So far it’s been a season to forget so far, but with Pocono’s unique challenges, the two-time champ may just have a chance to turn things around and keep his playoff hopes alive. As they prepare for the race, fans have been pointing fingers at the organization, wondering if Busch’s misfortunes are due to a lack of attention to detail and poor management.

NASCAR fans took to social media to express their frustration with the driver’s ongoing misfortunes this season. Many are looking to his team Richard Childress Racing for their inability to provide Busch with a competitive car. As soon as the news dropped, one fan commented “RCR strikes again! You have to admire their commitment to discovering new ways to tank a car.

This was followed by a flood of sarcastic and anger-fueled messages to RCR, another fan simply stated, “Worst year of his career.” The sentiment that Busch’s struggles are no longer surprising was also echoed, with one fan writing, “By now, are we even shocked?” The shock factor isn’t that he’s witnessing yet another issue on the tracks, it’s that they’re witnessing the potential downfall of one of the greatest NASCAR drivers.

Fans are persistent on the fact that Busch’s troubles with RCR seem never-ending, with one tweet reading, “It never ends for that team.” And another fan questioned when Busch has had an ideal weekend this season, highlighting the consistency of his issues throughout the year.
