During the NASCAR Cup Series race at the Bristol Motor Speedway dirt track, Kyle Busch grabbed the victory. However, there was a lot of action unfolding behind him. The cause of this piece of drama was Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott, and Rick Ware Racing’s Cody Ware. As it turned out, during the caution period, Ware was pretty annoyed with the #9 driver.
The whole thing got triggered when the 2020 champion punted the #51 driver and caused a five-car accident. Ware was still running, but he was absolutely furious with the Hendrick Motorsports driver. The first wreck also involved Martin Truex Jr, Ricky Stenhouse Jr, and Daniel Suarez. In light of the incident, many fans reacted to the incident and retaliation.

One response suggested that it was weird seeing Cody Ware and Chase Elliott mentioned in the same breath. Meanwhile, others chalked it up to a brand new feud. Another comment read, “Chase pulled out the Conor McGregor “who the f*** is that guy?!” Chase just made him famous now”
Many defended Chase Elliott and criticized Cody Ware
A number of fans simply dismissed Cody as someone irrelevant. According to them, his clash with Elliott was the most notable thing he ever did in NASCAR and the most TV time he received. There were many who criticized him for crashing in nearly every race and causing unnecessary cautions. They also dubbed him as an ‘awful’ driver and unable to spin someone out at pace car speed.

That was why he retaliated and went to take out Chase Elliott. Speaking of which, some Elliott haters mocked Chase fans for complaining because of Cody Ware and the fact that Kyle Busch won.
