Christmas is that time of the year that undoubtedly brings all the family together to experience some magical moments. While the entire world was praying and celebrating, it looks like our spotter for NASCAR Cup Series Brett Griffin was in a spot of bother himself.

The humble veteran, late at night, tweeted on his account apologizing for wishing his fans’ families Merry Christmas a little late. The reason behind him reaching out to his fans late was heart-wrenching. His mother had to be rushed to the hospital in an emergency on the day of Christmas. It is the day no one ever wishes to spend in a hospital and he ended the note with a beautiful message to follow.

In his tweet, he wrote, “I hope you all are having a Merry Christmas. I apologize for the delay but Momma had a scare overnight and we are glad she’s stable here in the hospital. Enjoy time with your loved ones. It’s precious and never guaranteed.”
