The day was all smiles for Samantha Busch. She is perhaps on cloud nine after the Talladega race. And why not? It was an iconic win for her husband, Kyle Busch. The 37-year-old driver seized his second career victory in Talladega—after 15 years!
With the win on the superspeedway, Kyle Busch’s cheerful half took to Instagram to share the news of his victory. Samantha seemed elated in the video and was seen with her daughter celebrating the win.

In the video, spellbound, Samantha Busch was seen announcing the victory of her better half. She wrote, “Omg pinch me is this for real?! We won at a superspeedway ?!?! Congrats to my amazing husband, his incredibly talented team all the awesome people @rcraccing. We are so grateful!”
In the video posted on Instagram, Kyle is seen flanked by his son Brexton—a budding racer himself—along with Samantha Busch and their daughter Lennix. Samantha also shared the victory drink along with a kiss from her husband.
Moreover, Ashley Van Metre, Kurt Busch’s ex-wife and Kyle’s ex-sister-in-law, was among those who liked the post. She also left a comment under the post, “Woo!! Congratulations,” to which Samantha replied, “Thanks girl! Miss u.” Even Denny Hamlin‘s partner (?) Jordan Fish also pressed the heart button on the post.
It is not new for Samantha to celebrate Rowdy’s win. She makes sure to share her elation on social media even when she is unable to accompany him in the grid—a case in point being the Auto Club Speedway. When she was unable to accompany Kyle to Fontana, Samantha was still seen cheering for her husband. She posted a reel on Instagram to share her mirth and joy.

However, Bubba Wallace, who was battling it out for the top spot with Busch, was spun out by Ryan Blaney and triggered a multi-car crash at the very end. This resulted in effectively securing the top spot for Busch. It worked wot for Busch in the end—a victory that he will certainly cherish for long, especially after the heartbreak at Daytona earlier this year.
As reported by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Busch said, “We’ve got to gamble. We’re up here. You’ve got to take the track position when you have it and go get what you can on the restarts and see what happens. And lo and behold, it worked out. So knock on wood for this one.”

Busch has not always been lucky when it came to racing on superspeedways. The 2x Cup Series champion just ended his 15-year drought at Talladega. He always seems to end up in trouble in superspeedway races, especially the Daytona 500. Well, it only leaves us with another question, will the #8 claim another victory at Talladega this year in the Yellawood 500 in October? Will he outperform other Cup contenders, including the defending champion, Joey Logano?
