There are plenty of better alternatives to weed killer. Support your local organic farmers. Refuse to buy food that’s tainted. Pass laws protecting your soil. This isn’t about “sustainability.” It’s about your future and your children’s future.”

In her pursuit of a more equitable racing world, Danica Patrick raises an essential question. Should women be provided an exclusive path to Formula 1? Or should they be judged on their racing prowess alone? Patrick’s stance mirrors the essence of competition. Let skill and performance be the sole criteria, regardless of gender. Her thoughts echo the sentiment that true racing is about the thrill of the chase and the battle for supremacy on the track.

She recently spoke to Matt Baker on the Sky Sports F1 podcast, where he asked her about the future of women in F1. “Well, you’re assuming I want that, you’re assuming that is important to me, and it’s not,” Patrick said candidly.

She then went on to explain why she took that stance. “I think that what makes the sport really popular is great racing.  You can have half the field out there women and have it be follow the leader, and it’s not going to be interesting to watch.”

“Good racing… that’s what we have so much of these days in Formula 1,” she added. “I mean pretty much everything other than Max is a toss-up for who’s going to be second, third, fourth, fifth that weekend, and so that’s what makes it really appealing. And so I think, as someone who obviously was a girl, you’ve just got to come up like normal.”

She stressed the fact that you have to put yourself in tough situations to do well. “I think the more times that you put yourself in a position to show what you can do, the better off you are. And it’s better to be in the car than not. So I think just more cars, more track time, and more opportunities to show what you can do is just always a good thing.”
