NASCAR Cup Series has had its moments of unexpected glory multiple times. From Hendrick Motorsports producing the most wins in the NASCAR Cup Series to Team Penske producing the youngest Cup Series winner. Similarly, Daniel Suarez crossed the finish line as the first driver in Sunday’s race at the Sonoma Raceway. This is a huge deal as Trackhouse has made Suarez the first-ever Mexican driver in the NASCAR Cup Series to win a race. Moreover, the win will help the Latino driver in the Playoffs.

Daniel Suarez had an incredible race, taking the lead from Chris Buescher, and leading the better half of the third sector. Although the driver of the #99 car has won two races so far in a Cup Series Stock car, his win was at the Texas Motor Speedway, which was an all-star race, did not get him any points. Hence, Sonoma is his first win in the NASCAR Cup Series.

With this, Suarez got attention from everyone. Especially, the team owners, Pitbull, and Justin Marks. The legendary American rapper shot out a tweet to the #99 driver to congratulate him.

And, Trackhouse Racing team’s co-owner, Justin Marks also tweeted, talking about how happy he is for the team and Daniel Suarez.

It’s an incredible moment for team Trackhouse Racing. On top of that, it’s a moment of glory for the Mexican driver to be the first to truly represent his country in one of the biggest motorsport series in the world!

Daniel Suarez Optimistic About The Rest Of The Season

Sonoma concluded a stellar weekend for the Mexican. But, Suarez believes that his win at the road course is not the last one and there’s many more to come.

The Mexican said, “It’s been a rough journey in the Cup Series and these guys Believed in me, Trackhouse Racing.” Furthermore, he spoke to his fans in Spanish and said, “This is the first one of many.”
