NASCAR Vs Animals. A funny war that has been going on for years. From hopping squirrels and rabbits to sighting an owl and a fox, the racetracks have seen it all. But unfortunately, sometimes these incidents end on a horrible note. Just like the time when Kyle Busch encountered a jackrabbit on track.

During a practice session at the Northern California road course in 2016, Kyle Busch collided with a jackrabbit who was trying to cross the track. Unfortunately, the rabbit succumbed to the hit and Busch’s car also suffered damage.

Recently a video of the incident resurfaced on the internet. And NASCAR fans took this opportunity to take a dig at the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. Moreover, they left a few entertaining comments in the comment section.

Some YouTube users mourned the death of the little creature whereas others posted hilarious observations and possibilities. A user wrote, “Rest in peace, fly high little bro 😔” While another one commented, “Well we know Trix won’t be a potential sponsor for Kyle Busch.”

One YouTube user joked that PETA is looking for the #18 driver. They wrote, “PETA is finding Kyle Busch right now.” Whereas another one said that the rabbit’s soul still haunts Busch, “Legend has it that rabbits soul still haunts Kyle to this day.”

An extension of this ghastly rabbit soul theory, another user commented “The spirit of that rabbit blew up his motor at Darlington last night.”

What did Kyle Busch say about the incident?

In the clip shared on YouTube, the commentator can be heard saying; “There was a jackrabbit crossing the track. Not anymore. Some of it is on the left front of Kyle Busch’s car who saw the jackrabbit and tried to avoid it. You see the smear there.”
