NASCAR’s future seems bright with gen-Alpha’s performance. From Owen Larson and Brexton Busch to Keelan Harvick, the next generation is performing well, winning race after race. But, as per an insider, Brexton Busch stands out in terms of racing, and not only because he had a stellar 2024. He was smitten by his charm, interview style, and technique at racing.
With Brexton participating in the Tulsa Shootout, Kenny Wallace has taken notice and has positive things to say about Rowdy’s son.

Racing runs in Brexton Busch’s blood, and if one notes his racing style, one would find that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. But, like the father, the son is also doing great as far as winning races is concerned. The year 2024 has been Brexton Busch’s. With 14 features, 126 top 10s, 107 top 5s, and 48 wins, who can even debate that? The third-generation racer is the KKM Challenge Jr. Sprint Champion, Millbridge Restricted Points Champion, PA Speedweek Jr Sprint Champion, and INEX Winter Nats Bandit Champ.
Kenny Wallace, one of NASCAR’s most popular drivers, recently caught Brexton Busch in action and was won over by the boy’s driving skills. “My heart was so happy to see Brexton Busch. Brexton won his race and started sixth. However, what impressed me the most about Brexton was his interview after the race.” The Busch brothers are known to be “intense” with their interviews. However, Wallace believes that it is different when it comes to Brexton. In just seven words, Wallace made his true feelings known about the interview style of young Busch. He said, “It appears Mama Samantha has got a hold of Brexton.”
Perhaps what Wallace refers to here is training her son when it comes to dealing with the press. While the Busch brothers, Kurt and Kyle, both are known for their aggression and unfiltered personas, especially while giving interviews, young Brexton is down a different path. It may not be a surprise, since Samantha Busch knows the value of maintaining image from her time as a model and her ongoing social media influencer role. Additionally, Wallace said that while watching Brexton’s interview, he could “just tell he was a different spirit.” He also asserted that the “pleasant, happy young man” has his daddy’s driving skills but acts like his mother.
In the video, Wallace said that he likes Brexton Busch, especially his one special driving skill. He said that when Brexton Busch got the lead in the race he watched, his entry to the corners was amazing. He added, “As a matter of fact, every entry to every corner, even if it’s a race course, that’s everything; that’s all there is to it. How you enter that corner is going to determine what kind of race car driver you are going to be. That Brexton such, he is going to be a good one. Every single lap, I kept studying him. His entry was really good. He didn’t chop the corner. He wasn’t out too far.” Kyle Busch’s son, lovingly nicknamed B-rex, started his journey in racing in 2020 with races in the Beginner Box Stock Category.
It might be important to note here that Brexton Busch has won 30 races at 11 tracks in 8 different states. So, Wallace might not be off the mark here. His skill behind the while is apparent. At the Tulsa Shootout, Brexton qualified on pole position for the Junior Sprint A-Main. With the number of entries coming into the A-Main, scoring a pole position is an achievement on its own. Now, the Golden Driller is just within his reach.

Pardon the pun, but racers beget racers, speed begets champions might be the new NASCAR tagline. Kyle Larson’s son, Owen Larson, and Kevin Harvick’s son, Keelan Harvick, are forming a solid base for their NASCAR career, and it seems like no one is complaining. In fact, Owen Larson and Keelan Harvick are not far behind in performance.
Owen Larson recently made headlines by starting a race at the Tulsa Shootout from challenging positions and finishing with a stunning victory. These accomplishments highlight his potential to follow in the footsteps of his legendary father.
Keelan Harvick is making waves in Legends Car Racing. In 2024, he won the Asphalt National Championship, driving the number 62 car for Joe Ryan Race Cars. He narrowly missed a $25000 prize at Southern National Motorsports Park by just one second but still had an impressive finish. Keelan began racing at age 8, achieving numerous victories, including the US Legend Cars championship in 2023. This year, he excelled in the Asphalt National Young Lions series, winning the championship and 33 out of 57 races. He also debuted in limited late-model races, finishing 8th in the South Carolina 400, positioning him as a future contender.
