Kevin Harvick is best known for his years racing for Richard Childress Racing, and his Championship wins in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series as well as the Busch Series. But among the other drivers on the track, his pranks go around with a lot of infamy too.
Harvick raced for RCR between 2001 and 2013. He, later on, joined Stewart-Haas Racing. Stewart-Haas Racing is owned by Tony Stewart, and he used to race for his own team for a short while before taking retirement. “I actually didn’t even set the clocks forward. I don’t even know who did. It was not me. But I’m telling you this right now that’s the only time I have ever seen Tony Stewart an hour early to anything. He made me very aware of that situation by walking into my bus and just walking straight into the bathroom. I walk out of the shower and see Tony Stewart in his driver’s uniform because he’s mad he’s up an hour early. I can’t take the credit for that one but I got all the blame,” he said.
“[Did he try and get you back] That’s constant. That never ends.”
“[Has he ever done a good job of it?] I am not gonna go that far. If I put a challenge out there, then hell put the effort into it and it’ll come back to bite me.”
We’ll never know who pulled off that prank, but the story really makes for a hilarious read.
