When the Tesla Cyber truck finally began making its way to consumers’ doorsteps on December 1st, 2023, fans of the futuristic ‘monster-truck’ design were left with mixed emotions, from finding it jaw-dropping to others claiming it to be an eye-sore. While Elon Musk’s design has been the subject of numerous jokes as of late, it might not be all doom and gloom if Elon Musk wants to win the automotive community’s hearts once again.

Whichever way your opinion lands on the table, if you’re a motorsport fan, Elon Musk might just be forgiven by the Cyber Truck naysayers after receiving Kenny Wallace’s seal of approval for his appearance at a Hot Wheels Monster Truck event in Austin, Texas. Let’s take a look at all that the thrilling event had to offer Elon Musk and other monster truck enthusiasts.

From laser shows to dance parties, the Hot Wheels Monster Truck Live Glow Party was a spectacle to behold rolling through this weekend at the Mood Center, starting Saturday afternoon and lasting throughout Sunday. The opportunity would please kids more than Elon Musk’s equivalents, as they would be able to make life-sized versions of the famous Hot Wheels trucks such as Demo Derby, Bone Shaker, Tiger Shark, and many more.

It’s safe to say deep down Elon Musk might be a Hot Wheels fan too, as he took to his platform to share, “Went to a monster truck rally in Austin!”. The picture was also followed by a wholesome image of Elon Musk’s son, Techno Mechanicus Musk, rocking a shirt with the iconic Grave Digger imprinted on it. Kenny Wallace wasted no time in sharing his approval of Musk’s newfound choice of recreation. He added, Now this makes @elonmusk one of us 😁💯🕺🏁🏁🏁”.

Fans can purchase tickets for future events and go through further event information available at Ticketmaster.com and www.hotwheelsmonstertruckslive.com. The event will provide some gorgeous visuals with a focus on the Glow in the Dark theme, allowing the monster trucks to put on a show for all ages. Along with Elon Musk being in attendance, the Hot Wheels team also unveiled a new monster truck called HW 5-Alarm™, the firetruck hero.

Fans of the monster trucking genre were also greeted with a transforming robot as well as the electrifying high-flyers of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Freestyle Motocross Team. The one-of-a-kind event allows fans to enter the competition floor to witness the amazing designs and monumental sizes of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, as well as meet the drivers and get autographs! Passes will be available for purchase while supplies last by adding them to your ticket order at the time of purchase.

To the delight of Elon Musk’s son, who was wearing a Grave Digger shirt to the Hot Wheels event in Austin, the iconic truck made a memorable appearance at the traditional Monster Jam show held in the Alamodome. Driven by the truck’s original creator’s son, Adam Anderson, and joined fourteen other trucks to compete in a series of thrilling events over the weekend.

Ranging from a skills competition to outright races, the show delivered action-packed moments at every turn and included some iconic trucks such as El Toro Loco, Max-D, Kraken, and Megladon. The Black Pearl and Bad Company were also notable faces that put up a valiant effort. And apart from the on-track shenanigans, fans who paid an additional sum to be a part of the Monster Jam pit party were also able to get up close and personal with their favorite monster trucks and their drivers during the meet-and-greet sessions.
