With the inception of the Next-Gen cars, crashes and wrecks have been a common phenomenon in the NASCAR Cup Series. The durable nature of these modern cars has certainly played its role in such events. Unfortunately, this has seen more animosity among drivers than before. While Daniel Suarez was rattled by one such incident involving a Hendrick Motorsports driver this season, it all seems to have settled now.

Safe to say, Suarez is yet to make his mark in NASCAR’s top division. With a single win in 233 races so far, the pressure remains on him to turn it around. While he tries to achieve that, he will have to assure to keep his cool on the track.

Daniel Suarez indicates a sign of a truce toward Hendrick Motorsports driver after his latest reaction on Threads

A lot has been going around in the digital industry with the influence of AI getting stronger by the day. While that wasn’t enough, the introduction of Threads has certainly brought a new dimension to the content world. Without hesitance, many have already blessed their presence on the new social media platform including Daniel Suarez.

The Trackhouse Racing driver isn’t having the best of seasons so far with just a single top-five finish to his name. While he currently ranks 17th in the Cup Series table, there is still hope of him making it to the playoffs. For that to happen, he would not just have to perform better but also stay calm on the track.

Back in March this year, Suarez was fined $50,000 for a post-race incident at Circuit of The Americas. It is because of his ramming into the rear bumper of Alex Bowman’s car that he got penalized. While he was annoyed with Bowman’s role in him being relegated to a 27th finish in the race, his lack of composure earned him the ruling.

There is no doubt that Suarez was unhappy with the Hendrick Motorsports driver then. However, his recent activity on Threads indicates things have changed between the two. On his arrival on the platform, Bowman posted, “I’m just here so I won’t get fined.”

With eight regular season races left in the Cup Series, Daniel Suarez surely doesn’t have much time to change things around. However, he would like to remain optimistic given how well his Trackhouse Racing teammates have been recently.

While Ross Chastain won at Nashville, Shane van Gisbergen made it count in Chicago. It is now Suarez’s turn to help the team make it three in a row on the weekend. Speaking to Speedway Digest recently, he said, “On the track we have lots of work to do. We have run well at Atlanta. I think both Trackhouse cars had finished in the top five until the March race.”

He continues, “We were looking good but got caught up in a wreck.” It was then that he described the secret to succeed in Atlanta. Suarez said, “That’s the secret here, survival. Avoid the wrecks and we’ll have a good finish Sunday.” While these are encouraging words, it is necessary that things materialize for the Mexican-American driver.
