In a rather surprising turn of events, after the 2022 Cup season, Kyle Busch, the ‘bad boy of NASCAR’ changed lanes and left Joe Gibbs Racing to join Richard Childress Racing. The two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion signed for the team back in December in a move that really took the wind out of most fans and critics alike. This was majorly due to the fact that Kyle is known for his on and off-track antics. And this includes the incident where he got into a serious altercation with the owner of Richard Childers Racing, Richard Childress himself.
Fans seemed really perplexed by Busch’s sudden u-turn last year. However, with the recent developments, they might have all the answers to their questions.
In a recent interview with Mike Wallace, Richard Childress opened up about the current situation at RCR. On the podcast, he spoke his mind on many things, including racing scenes back in his days, the dramatic altercation with Kyle, and the events that led to the signing of Busch.
