Well, NASCAR’s off-season is here, and it’s clear boredom is starting to set in for some drivers. But not for everyone! While some drivers are still scrambling for rides next season, Noah Gragson has a comfy seat secured in the #10 car for Front Row Motorsports after signing a multi-year deal. But hey, there are still two months until the next season kicks off, so why not have a little fun, right? Gragson could’ve followed Kyle Busch into the Chili Bowl, but instead, he went for something a bit… more bizarre.
As he was scrolling through X (formerly Twitter), Gragson saw a post from none other than Mr. Beast. If you don’t know Mr. Beast, you must’ve been living under a rock. The internet sensation has 334 million YouTube subscribers and is known for his over-the-top challenge videos. Well, he posted an open invite for people to join him for a fun project, and Gragson jumped at the chance!

Noah Gragson’s desire to collaborate with Mr. Beast
Mr. Beast is famous for making crazy challenge videos with fans and celebrities, offering big cash prizes for the winners. And I mean BIG, like life-changing amounts. Remember the time he bought a car with literal mountains of pennies? Classic Beast. Well, he can afford to do that. After all, he has an estimated net worth of $500 Million.
In his latest venture, he teamed up with Yahoo Sports to host a “Pros vs. Amateurs” challenge, where athletes face off against regular people, and the winner gets $100,000. For the famous athletes, though, the prize goes to charity. The list of athletes includes Super Bowl champ Tom Brady, Olympic gold medalist Noah Lyles, baseball star Bryce Harper, and U.S. Open champ Bryson DeChambeau. Oh, and there’s also soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who gets a $1 million prize for his match-up.
You’d think common folks would get smoked by these elite athletes, right? Spoiler alert: Tom Brady actually lost to a high school quarterback in one of the challenges. The video has already racked up 60 million views, and Mr. Beast is already cooking up the next viral sensation. Mr. Beast is now asking his fans to suggest who should face off in the next round of his “Pros vs. Amateurs” challenges. Noah Gragson was quick to reply, saying, “I’ll do it.” And honestly, how fun would it be to watch a NASCAR driver take on a fan in a challenge?
I’ll do it https://t.co/bpc0XLhJLl

While Gragson might be a rookie in the Cup Series, let’s not forget how solid he was in the Xfinity Series. In 2022, he finished second in the standings after winning 8 races, just missing out on the championship. He had a solid first Cup season too, with seven top-10 finishes and one top-5. So, don’t sleep on Noah if he ends up racing against a fan.

Have an interesting take?
And if not Gragson, maybe another driver could join in on the fun. Kyle Busch, anyone? Sure, he’s busy prepping for the Chili Bowl, but who wouldn’t love to see “Rowdy” go up against an amateur? But Busch is busy being a family man.

The Busch family is on vacation!
Kyle Busch, after what was one of his worst seasons, has decided to foray into uncharted territory- Midget Racing. And he’s picked the Super Bowl of midgets, the Chili Bowl. However, before the main event, he ran some USAC events, first at Bakersfield Speedway on November 26 and at the Ventura Raceway on November 30th. The Chili Bowl is from January 13 to January 18, 2025. So, he’s also taking some well-deserved family time.
In a recent Instagram post, Busch shared his off-season plans, saying, “This week was a lot of learning, and getting a feel for the car in prep for Chili Bowl. Had a good time on the West Coast but ready to chill with the fam and celebrate the holidays.” And we know the Busch family vacations are epic. Only recently we saw them explore the city of Rome.
And Samantha Busch, being a social media influencer, enjoys taking her fans along with them on the trip. So hopefully we get more heartfelt moments like the ones Busch recently posted on X. The RCR driver posted photos with his family enjoying the California beach. In the post, he wrote, “To no one’s surprise our life on the road has led us to Cali to race. No matter where we are, I’m just thankful to be with these Turkeys.”
