At the Talladega Superspeedway, there was a close call between Chase Briscoe and Noah Gragson. Gragson tried to bump draft his car, but it ended up going wrong and caused Briscoe to have a massive moment.
In the end, Briscoe dropped down the order to 19th, while Gragson finished 3rd. The move triggered plenty of debate among the fans, but he didn’t hold it against Noah Gragson.
Briscoe insisted that Gragson simply tried to pass him and he tried to block him in return. According to him, he did not blame his rival for the move, because he had to maintain his own position against Gragson.

Gragson tweeted, “Hard racing for the win! No shame by Chase Briscoe. We’re both trying to win! Hell of a race. On to the next one! Respect!”
Fortunately, in spite of the poor result in Talladega, neither driver is particularly worried. This is because both of them have already settled comfortably into their playoff spots. It is worth noting that the two of them approached NASCAR Hall of Famer, Dale Earnhardt, for advice to tackle Talladega.
In the end, Justin Haley triumphed at the Talladega Superspeedway and sealed his playoff berth. Admittedly, he won it under caution, because there was a wreck late in the race. Regardless of how he won, a win is a win and he will gladly take it and not look a gift horse in the mouth.
