Bubba Wallace and his team, 23XI Racing, which is co-owned by Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin, have been facing difficulties in achieving good performances in the last five races. However, they were hopeful for better results at New Hampshire, considering that Bubba finished third on the same track last year.

Despite their hopes, Bubba Wallace encountered issues with his car’s brakes for most of the race. He wasn’t the only one facing this problem; Kyle Busch, Noah Gragson, and Aric Almirola also fell victim to brake failures. Nonetheless, Bubba Wallace displayed resilience and managed to recover from these challenges.

Every race has become crucial for Bubba Wallace because he desperately needs good results to secure his place in the playoffs. However, he is struggling with his performance and is certainly putting the blame on his team. And rightfully so, as Bubba was facing difficulties with his brakes during the final laps of Stage 2.

During lap 163, Erik Jones spun around, and at that time, Bubba Wallace was in 18th position. After the caution flag was waved, Bubba somehow managed to bring his car back to P9 before restarting. Following his bold move, his Crew Chief, Bootie Barker, praised the #23 driver and instructed him to stay on the lead laps.

However, Bubba replied to his Crew Chief, expressing the problem he was facing. He said, “You want to know something. Brake dial does not work. No idea where the f*ck I am”!

Later when Bubba Wallace came to the pit road he was not able to control and stop the car at the pit box. Reporter Jordan Bianchi tweeted right after that, he wrote; “Bubba Wallace asks team to give him an extra few feet indicating where he should stop in his pit box. He’s twice slid through his pit stall today”

The No. 23 Toyota Camry driver has been openly addressing the problems his team is experiencing. In fact, mistakes have occurred on both sides, as there were instances where Bubba Wallace made contact with the walls or took shortcuts on corners. Furthermore, he has also faced engine and brake failures, which have resulted in poor outcomes for both the driver and the team.

Earlier this year, the team announced that they would establish their own pit crew instead of relying on Joe Gibbs Racing. This change has led to difficulties for the drivers, and Bubba Wallace expressed his disappointment during an interview with NBC Sport, stating,

“This week was a big reflection moment for everybody on the 23 team on how we need to execute better. Mistakes at this point in the season, there’s really no excuse for it, whether it’s my fault on track or the crew’s fault in preparation. We just have to be better as a team moving forward to even think about the playoffs.”

Fans and enthusiasts alike eagerly await the unfolding of this story, eagerly anticipating whether Bubba Wallace and the 23XI Team can overcome their challenges and ultimately succeed in their playoff aspirations
