Since the Clash at the Coliseum is behind, and the Daytona 500 is ahead with a one-week gap in between, many NASCAR fans would be wondering what should they do on the free weekend. But as for the drivers, and specifically Denny Hamlin, he has his weekend planned out. The #11 driver had no plans apart from enjoying Super Bowl Sunday.

“We’re just gonna chill out. Watch the Super Bowl. I don’t have any other plans, it’s pretty much a light week,” said the 23XI Racing owner on the first episode of his podcast show Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin,

Denny Hamlin said his pick has a great defensive and offensive side

“I think the Eagles got the easiest route to the Super Bowl of any team out there,” Hamlin said of the Philadelphia Eagles. “Kansas City, everybody’s in the world like Kansas City. I believe that the public is dumb.”

Hamlin once again emphasized that a reason why he’s going for the Eagles is because “the public is dumb”. But other than that, the #11 driver named one other, or rather, a couple of factors because of which the Chiefs will lose.

“I think the Eagles have a great team on the defense and the offensive side,” he continued. “So I’m just gonna be counterintuitive and pick the Eagles.”
