“It Does Seem Weird” – Denny Hamlin Voices His Concern as Travis Kelce Attracts Attention of “Swifties” Around the World

Perhaps what attracts the attention of the fans more than on-track controversies are dating rumors. Needless to say, the community went gaga when rumors of Chase Elliott and gymnast Olivia Dunne dating each other sold like hotcakes. Recently, when Kenny Wallace asked Chase when he would get married, Chase responded by saying that he was just waiting for the right time and partner. Amongst all Chase Elliott dating rumors, another spicy piece of news has made its way up to the joint highlights of NFL and pop music.

For Denny Hamlin, it seems a tad unrealistic to dive so deep into a relationship so early. After all, you cannot just start a relationship without going out on dates and getting to know each other thoroughly. He spoke more about it on his Podcast.

We all are aware of how the 33-year-old phenom has time after time found inspiration for some of her most successful work. After all, the upsurge of powerful emotions gives rise to powerful lyrics that touch the listeners to their very core.

As things stand, Swift seems to be the talk of the town once again. But not because of a new release, as this time fans can’t stop talking about her recent rumored relationship. So in case you are wondering, who is the guy? It’s none other than Kansas City Chiefs #87 tight end, Travis Kelce. On Sunday, Taylor Swift showed up for their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and cheered for Patrick Mahomes‘ teammate.

Denny Hamlin, however, felt like it was way too soon for Taylor Swift to fall head-over-heels for Travis. In a recent episode of his podcast, Hamlin said, “It does seem weird. The relationship, all of a sudden, is like zero to a hundred, right? I thought this is just ‘Hey, I hit her up in the DMs, she hit me back and the next thing you know, they hung out somewhere’.”

But seeing Taylor Swift hanging out with Travis Kelce’s mom, Denny Hamlin felt like things had gotten serious way too early. His co-host and longtime friend admitted that he had been following Swift for the past week as one of the ‘Swifties’.

As this surprised Denny Hamlin, Jared Allen then went on to add, “The Swifties are saying, ‘Taylor hasn’t said anything about it, that’s nothing, bla bla bla… this is just Travis trying to boost the number in his podcast… bla bla bla’.”

“And then for her to go to the game and now make it very known that they are somewhat together,” he added.

Jared revealed that they walked out of the game, not holding hands, got in a convertible, and drove out together. While Denny felt like it was quite showy, Allen said, “It looks very Holywood-ish.”

Denny Hamlin also reflected on how Swift loves ‘Love’ so she gets really involved quickly. “Maybe that scares the guys off. ‘Whoa, this chick’s all in’,” he said.

Travis Kelce visited Swift’s concert at Arrowhead Stadium in July when she was midway through her Eras Tour. Not only that, he had a very special gift for the girl he doted on.

Unfortunately, Kelce did not get the chance to talk to Swift before the concert and hence couldn’t hand over the gift to her. Kelce thought, maybe Taylor Swift did not want to get distracted before her performance. But what was the gift, anyway?

It was a bracelet with Kelce’s number on it. Fans would perhaps speculate what kind of number it was. Kelce’s Jersey number or phone number? Nevertheless, looking at the way they both came out of the game and drove away, it seems like it is something to talk about.

When a Taylor Swift fan page reposted Pop Base’s tweet and said, “he had a friendship bracelet and a dream,” the Swifties poured in all kinds of comments.
