If 7 days ago someone would’ve asked you to draw the parallels between Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace, and Davante Adams, you couldn’t possibly have done so. But 7 days is a long time, and according to many cultural theories, the earth was created in that many days!
Anyway, a week ago, at the ROVAL, after the race, Chase Elliott decided to shove a cameraperson away as he was having a chat with his teammate. This was something for which the Hendrick Motorsports driver received a lot of criticism.
A couple of days later, Davante Adams did the same, only the NFL star put the cameraperson down to the ground, for which he was compared to…you guessed it right, Chase Elliott, by the fans.

Back to the present now.
So, a few days after he shoved the cameraperson, Adams showed up at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and ahead of the race, he posed with Bubba Wallace for a picture.
In fact, he joked about Adams’ actions from a few days prior – “Got shoved immediately after this pic..”

Curiously, Wallace, after retaliating against Kyle Larson, taking himself and the #5 driver out, went on to shove and, in many interpretations of the incident, assault the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion.

Bubba Wallace isn’t one to back out, on track or off track
In an interview after crashing himself out of the race intentionally, Bubba Wallace made his racing style, philosophy, and thought process clear during his tussle with Kyle Larson.
“I don’t lift. I know I’m kind of new running up front, but I don’t lift,” he said. Wallace then claimed he “wasn’t even in a spot” to have lifted, but Larson didn’t do the same, and ‘as a result’, they both were out of the race.

“Larson wanted to make it a three-wide dive bomb. Never cleared me,” he claimed. “Just a piss-poor move on his execution.”
When asked about whether him wrecking Kyle Larson deliberately was something he saw as an act of retaliation, Bubba Wallace simply attributed it to the sport itself.

“Just racing,” he replied. “Just have to do better, be better.”
