For fans, it’s time to get ready for another epic Thanksgiving weekend game as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Las Vegas Raiders in a heated AFC West showdown. After their nail-biting Week 8 clash, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce return to defend Arrowhead Stadium in what promises to be a high-stakes rematch. And one of the NASCAR figures involved is none other than Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. revealed that he will be involved in the upcoming NFL match as he put up a story on Instagram making the announcement. The story came in the form of a picture where Earnhardt Jr. is present in a tee shirt that was made to promote the event. Another partner of the event is Amazon Prime, who are streaming the event on their platform as well as Twitch.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. just so happens to be a die-hard fan of the NFL, specifically the Washington Commanders. Growing up in North Carolina, Dale Jr. latched onto the team (formerly known as the Washington Redskins) and has followed them with unwavering loyalty. He is known to be a fan, and he doesn’t even let a race get in his way of keeping up with football.
Even during intense races, he used to have the Commanders’ scores relayed to him, ensuring he never missed a beat from his favorite football team. Known to make posts about the NFL during drafting season, Dale Jr is always keeping the NASCAR community updated on what’s happening in the NFL. However, this time Dale Jr’s social media post is about more than just sharing updates from a game as he revealed that he will be present at the upcoming Chiefs and Raiders game.
So far, the predictions are one-sided, favoring the Chiefs. Dale Jr.’s football story came with a bingo card with a few activities that he plans on checking off at the event. While Dale Jr’s role at the showdown is still a mystery, but the wait seems worth it for fans whose love for the NFL goes with their passion for NASCAR.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. working to promote Amazon Prime comes as no surprise, especially with how the NASCAR Cup Series shook up its broadcast game in 2025 with a major announcement. Earlier this week, TNT Sports and Amazon Prime revealed Adam Alexander, Steve Letarte, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. as their broadcast crew for the upcoming season.
Adam Alexander, with nearly two decades at FOX Sports, will handle play-by-play duties. Meanwhile, Steve Letarte, who already has a winning record as a crew chief and analyst, will provide expert commentary. Fans of NASCAR’s golden years will especially enjoy seeing Letarte reunite with Dale Jr., his former Hendrick Motorsports driver, bringing a unique blend of chemistry and insight to the broadcasts. Dale Jr., already one of NASCAR’s most beloved figures, was the first announced member of the team back in May. His new role with TNT and Prime comes with an exciting twist as he’ll also contribute to Bleacher Report’s digital content through his Dirty Mo Media group.
Amazon Prime Video, stepping into NASCAR for the first time, and TNT, making its broadcast return, will split a 10-race midseason package. Prime’s run starts with the iconic Coca-Cola 600 on May 25 and includes the groundbreaking Cup Series race in Mexico City on June 15. TNT picks up on June 28 at Atlanta, headlining an in-season tournament with a $1 million prize. This new partnership with TNT and Prime joins the established FOX and NBC networks, rounding out a diverse media rights package set to run through 2031. With seasoned voices like Alexander, Letarte, and Earnhardt Jr., plus platforms like Prime Video, the future of NASCAR broadcasting looks as thrilling as the races themselves.
