Dirt Race in NASCAR and fans agreeing to Dale Earnhardt Jr
It’s needless to say that NASCAR is a very popular sport in the United States of America. So to say, the most popular form of Motorsports in the country. However, there was a time fans criticized NASCAR to be a boring sport because of the same asphalt track types throughout the season.
As time rolled on, NASCAR introduced different types of racecourses throughout the year. It is believed that the governing body did this to increase excitement in the younger generation of fans. As stated, NASCAR introduced a race on the dirt track last year. The Food City Dirt Race in Bristol Motor Speedway has been the first-ever dirt race in the sport’s history in 51 years.
However, the dirt race didn’t turn out to be everyone’s favorite, including the NBC NASCAR analyst Dale. As for fans, some expressed that the earlier track type at Bristol Motor Speedway was better. As the 47-year-old shared his view on the race track, NASCAR fans reacted pretty positively to Dale’s wishes.
Given below are some of the fan reactions:

Agreed. Do the dirt thing somewhere else. Charlotte, Eldora, Knoxville Iowa, or maybe volusia the week before Daytona. That would be a good idea for the clash.

Thanks Dale. On the way phone this week I met the girl to whom our father was a cousin to Dale Sr. She said Dale was her Godfather. And thanks for paving the track.
