To end the woes of the motor heads, the streaming service Netflix presented to its fans a masterpiece titled ‘Drive to Survive’, which boasts five seasons. The docuseries provide an insider’s perspective of the sport and also detail the cut-throat competition, epic rivalries, heart-wrenching farewells, and also enviable friendships among the personnel along with a pinch of melodrama.

It was not long before that the docuseries gained huge traction among the fans and gained an unrivaled viewership. However, it was also not void of controversies and tensions that brewed among the insiders and the broadcast partners. Albeit everything, the Formula 1 fans had the source to rejoice and brag about, while the world of NASCAR was left to enjoy only a limited series of Race, charting the life of the Afro-American driver Bubba Wallace. However, it seems that the days of sorrow are over for all NASCAR fans as Netflix is set to drop a new docuseries featuring the Cup Series playoffs and championships in 2024.

The announcement was made by the streaming platform on its official Twitter account.

The post read, “The NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs and championship race will be the centerpiece of an upcoming Netflix Sports docuseries premiering in early 2024 that’s executive produced by Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the team behind The Last Dance.”

Fans show their excitement after the announcement of the new show

With a star-studded cast and a producer like Dale Earnhardt Jr, the upcoming show has assuredly sent shockwaves through the NASCAR world. The fans took to Twitter to portray their exhilaration about the announcement.

Moreover, Dale Earnhardt Jr the producer of the show, also commented, “Between this and successfully hanging some curtains in my house it’s been a heck of a day.”

Even NASCAR’s official page wrote, “Let’s do this. To which Netflix replied, “let’s goooooooo”

Others also wrote, “W! Love to see it.”
