Is it carelessness and negligence, or is it sheer bad luck? If anything, could it be something that can be avoided? This is something Michael Jordan’s NASCAR team has yet to figure out.

With their carelessness in taking away their star driver, Tyler Reddick, and his teammate, Bubba Wallace‘s chances of having a solid finish, 23XI Racing still don’t seem to be doing well enough. Although the #23 Toyota driver is not known for his road racing capabilities, his team’s incompetence again has got him in a rut at Watkins Glen.

Pit stops haven’t been MJ’s team’s stronghold. Even Tyler Reddick, one of the calmest drivers in today’s roster, got furious with his team’s crew after a lousy pit stop sealed the deal for the #45 Toyota at Michigan. And this isn’t the first or last time they have done it. It looks like Jordan’s team once again has gotten sloppy, this time at the Watkins Glen road course.

Though Wallace was perched in the 14th spot, distancing himself from Indy conqueror Michael McDowell with 18 points, all was not well, for Wallace seemed to have run out of fuel. And this is after numerous cases of carelessness getting the best of the driver.

NASCAR journalist, Jeff Gluck was the one who broke the news on the internet after a radio message suggested the #23 Toyota to be fading because of low fuel.

While the field was getting all fired up owing to the tight playoff bubble, Wallace’s chance of getting a respectable finish went for a toss, as the incident will certainly held him back.
