Home/NASCAR

Close your eyes and imagine this: you’re camped inside Dover Motor Speedway, where Dale Earnhardt Sr. traded blows with Rusty Wallace in ’93, where Jimmie Johnson reigned as the “King of Dover” with 11 wins. That’s the magic the Monster Mile’s unleashing for its July 18-20, 2025, tripleheader weekend, smashing traditions with the Infield Reserve—34 ultra-exclusive RV spots nestled within the one-mile, high-banked concrete oval, right beside the driver/owner lot. This isn’t just a race weekend; it’s a fan revolution dropping jaws before Atlanta even fires up.

The Infield Reserve isn’t your average campsite—it’s a front-row pass to NASCAR’s beating heart. Pitch your RV where legends like Richard Petty and Jeff Gordon carved history, where Matt Kenseth’s 2016 nail-biter against Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott had us screaming. “There’s no camping lot closer to the drivers or the on-track action,” Dover’s President and GM Mike Tatoian declared, per the speedway’s release. “It provides a fan perspective that hasn’t been experienced before in Dover.” For the first time, the Monster Mile’s infield is yours—34 spots of pure immersion, once reserved for crew chiefs and insiders, now open to us diehards who live for the roar.

NASCAR fans, get ready to be spoiled for choice of amenities for Tailgating

What’s the haul? Full hookups with 50-amp electric, water, sewer, and Wi-Fi; two Garage/Pit Access passes to roam where the action cooks; two tow vehicle passes; and four camping wristbands. Need a pit stop? The Hub hooks you up with concierge service and golf cart rides, plus a slick exclusive gift. Roll in Wednesday, July 16, for a five-night stay—plenty of time to soak in the ghosts of Dover’s past. “We look forward to our RV guests enjoying an extraordinary summer and creating new traditions,” Tatoian added. This is camping cranked to eleven—history and horsepower in your backyard. The fun part is that for the first time, the in-field at Monster Mile will remain open for an overnight campaign.

Dover’s not stopping there—they’re turbocharging tailgating too. XL Tailgate Parking dishes out a paved 20’x30’ lot near Bally’s Dover Casino Resort—room for your grill, cooler, and chaos crew. Premium Parking locks in a weekend spot by the Fan Zone and Monster Monument, with a fast exit when the checkered drops. Old-school fans can snag Tailgate Parking (20’x20’ grass outside Turn 4), Reserved Parking (same size, family-friendly), or Express Parking (Leipsic Road with a VIP gate). Whether you’re infield-bound or tailgate-obsessed, Dover’s serving up options like a pit crew on fresh tires.

Only 34 Infield Reserve spots exist, and they’ll vanish quicker than a lead car on the banking. “Our team is always looking to create special options for NASCAR’s top fanbase,” Tatoian said, and they’ve hit the jackpot. Want in? Sprint to DoverMotorSpeedway.com or dial 800-441-RACE—these won’t linger. July’s gearing up to be a weekend where we don’t just cheer from the stands; we camp where the legends raced.

After William Byron’s Daytona back-to-back, this second race of the 2025 season promises superspeedway fireworks on Atlanta’s revamped track. Last year, Daniel Suarez snatched victory by a whisker—0.007 seconds—in a three-wide thriller against Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch, and we’re itching for another photo finish.

The action kicks off Friday with Truck Series qualifying at 3:00 PM ET (FS1) and Xfinity at 5:00 PM ET (CW). Saturday’s packed—Cup Series qualifying at 11:00 AM ET (Prime Video), the Fr8 208 Truck Race at 1:52 PM ET, and the Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250 Xfinity Race at 5:10 PM ET. Sunday’s Ambetter Health 400 hits FOX at 3:19 PM ET, with stages at 60, 100, and 100 laps—strategy will be king. Weather’s looking golden: 52°F Saturday (1-5% rain chance) and 55°F Sunday (11-12% chance), a far cry from Daytona’s six-hour delay. If rain strikes, Atlanta’s Weather Guarantee offers ticket credits—redeem within 60 days or by year-end.

Cup’s got 39 entries for 40 spots—Corey LaJoie, J.J. Yeley, and B.J. McLeod vie for the open slot. Xfinity’s 38 drivers include Aric Almirola and Josh Bilicki, while the Truck’s 33 feature Kyle Busch and Michael McDowell. Prizes? Cup’s purse is $11,055,250, Xfinity’s $1,651,939, and Truck’s $782,900. Beyond racing, Atlanta’s Fan Zone rocks with autograph sessions—Cole Custer Saturday, Denny Hamlin and Richard Petty Sunday—plus Michael Waltrip meet-and-greets.

From Dover’s infield immersion to Atlanta’s tripleheader thrills, NASCAR’s fan love is revving up. Tickets ($65-$150) await at AtlantaMotorSpeedway.com—grab yours for a weekend that could top Suarez’s 2024 stunner.
