Trackhouse Racing’s NASCAR Cup Series squads are really getting their ducks in a row with sponsor deals as we gear up for the 2024 season, says John Newby over at NBCSPORTS.com. This time around, it looks like Wendy’s, the big-name fast-food joint, is throwing its hat in the ring to back Daniel Suarez as he takes on both the Cup and Xfinity Series.

Suarez is set to get behind the wheel of the #14 car for SS Greenlight Racing. It’s picking up where #08 of SS Greenlight Racing left off last season in terms of points. This means that come rain or shine if qualifying gets washed out, Suarez is still in the game. But it’s worth noting that Suarez isn’t the only one doing the Daytona double this year; he’s got company on that front.

After parting ways with Noah Gragson over a NASCAR hiccup, Wendy’s, the fast-food giant, is now teaming up with Trackhouse Racing and its roster of drivers for the season, as announced on Tuesday. The iconic brand is set to make a splash in both the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series, backing stars like Daniel Suarez, Ross Chastain, and Shane van Gisbergen.

Just the other day, Suarez dropped Wendy’s line on Twitter, playfully inquiring, “Hey @Wendys, how’s my car coming along amigos? Make it a Biggie.” Wendy’s fired back with a snazzy animated sneak peek of Suarez’s car, sporting a cool light blue shade with pops of red for the digits and logos. They cheekily added, “@Daniel_SuarezG Got her gassed up for you. Stuck a Biggie Bag in there in case you get hungry during the race and need to pull over. 😃”

Daniel Suarez is hitting the track with his eyes on the prize, hoping to notch up win number four in his career. With the United Rentals 300 on the horizon, he’s got the chops and, now, a top-notch machine to make it happen. Kaulig Racing is flooding the track with contenders, aiming for a victory lap at Daytona.

The alliance between Kaulig Racing and Trackhouse is solid as a rock and only seems to be getting stronger. As Suarez makes his comeback to the Xfinity Series, fresh from his triumph in NASCAR Mexico out in Los Angeles, he’s on the hunt for more silverware and to kick the Daytona 500 off with a bang.
