The NASCAR Xfinity Series 2020 championship race promises one of the most closely-fought battles in recent times. Four drivers, with not much to separate between them, are in contention for the big prize on Saturday.
Chase Briscoe, Justin Allgaier, Justin Haley, and Austin Cindric are all in with a serious shot at winning the title.

Most drivers on the circuit would be in envy of the season Chase Briscoe has had. Nine wins, along with 21 top-10 shows and including 16 top-five finishes are proof enough of Briscoe’s supremacy all year. Briscoe is one of the favorites every time he takes to the track this season.
Unlike Kevin Harvick, who won nine races in the Cup Series season, Briscoe does have a shot at the title.
At Phoenix Raceway, Briscoe finished sixth earlier this season. However, among the championship four contenders, Briscoe finished second, just behind Justin Haley in fifth place. His confidence has grown consistently since then, and he will back himself to make one final push for the title.
While two of his wins did come in the playoffs, he also had a few poor races through the two rounds. He will need to be careful of that at Phoenix.
Can Austin Cindric bank on his consistency?

Austin Cindric goes into the final race high on confidence. Five wins this season along with 18 top-five finishes also helped him earn the Cup Series promotion, beginning next year. While he won’t start full-time Cup racing before 2022, Cindric will want to make a statement with a title and make the big boys pay attention.
Cindric has struggled in the playoffs. While he has been consistent, the No. 22 car driver has not finished higher than 4th over the six races. However, four consecutive finishes being eighth or higher at the Phoenix Raceway put Cindric very much in contention in a one-race shootout for the title.
The experience of Justin Allgaier
Justin Allgaier has had the most difficult playoffs so far among the championship contenders. He has three results below the top-20 in six playoff races. To add to that, his run at Phoenix earlier this year also hasn’t done much to help his confidence. However, he did win at the track in last year’s playoff race.
Allgaier knows what it takes to get the job done in the championship race. He has the advantage of experience over his competitors and also has three wins this season to know how to beat them in the current scenario.
Can Justin Haley stun the field in the NASCAR Xfinity Series 2020 finale?

Justin Haley’s strength is his consistency so far in the playoffs. Apart from his win at Talladega, he has two other top-ten finishes and a top-five finish in the other five races. He also has two other wins this season.
Haley’s disadvantage will be his inability to lead a lot of laps. The championship race demands staying in front, and Haley will need to find a way to do that consistently.
