NASCAR Xfinity driver Justin Haley scored his first series victory last night. And the young driver looks ready for the next big challenge i.e The NASCAR All-Star Race.

After the race, Haley talked to Fox NASCAR about his race and his future plans. Fox NASCAR’s Bob Pockrass reveals in a tweet that Haley is very keen to participate in the ‘all-star’ race if he gets the chance.

Bob wrote, “Justin Haley on whether he will have a ride for All-Star Race: “I’m not sure. This definitely won’t hurt, though.”

Last night, Justin Haley overtook Jeb Burton in the final lap to take his first race win at Talladega Superspeedway for his first Xfinity Series victory. Haley got a chance to take over in the last laps after his Kaulig Racing teammate Ross Chastain made contact with Burton after the final restart.

Haley’s teammate Chastain came home in second place and won the $100,000 ‘Dash 4 Cash’ challenge. Additionally, Burton finished in the third place after losing his lead to Kaulig Racing teammates Haley and Chastain.

Haley dedicates his first NASCAR Xfinity race to his former crew chief

After the race, Haley said that his first win is dedicated to his deceased crew chief Nick Harrison. Nick died last year in July a day after the Xfinity Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. After his first win, Haley climbed out of the right side of his car to celebrate.

Talking about his celebration he said, “I’ve been thinking about, everyone has their own deal. That’s mine. That’s going to be my signature mark, only because I’m the littlest guy. I think I’m the only one who can do it and I still struggled.”

After the race, Burton talked about his race and the last lap incident. Burton said, “I thought it was OK. He definitely did jump a little bit. He beat me to the line.”
