NASCAR Cup Series stars are making the most of the mid-season Olympic break. Usually, long trips and vacations are prioritized by most of them, but weddings seem to be the theme this time around. After Tyler Reddick tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Alexa DeLeon, now Daniel Suarez has followed suit.

Suarez got married to Julia Piquet in an extravagant setting on Tuesday, July 30. The couple, who first met in 2012, got engaged last year and finally decided to make it official in the bride’s hometown of Brasilia. It was a multi-day wedding procession, which was kicked off by Julia’s father and F1 champion, Nelson Piquet.

NASCAR’s very own Amigo took to X to share the good news with the fans; he wrote, “Married the love of my life 🙏🏽.” Having lived one of the most heartfelt moments of his life, Daniel Suarez is expected to get back on track. The Mexican driver will race in the NASCAR Brazil Series from August 3 to August 4. That’s one way to cap off a destination wedding and perhaps Suarez was lucky that this prospect worked in his favor.

Not only did Daniel Saurez become a part of the Piquet family, but he also etched a bond with F1 phenom Max Verstappen. Julia’s sister, Kelly is Verstappen’s girlfriend, so this makes Suarez a brother-in-law to Verstappen. However, the joy of this new bond between Suarez and Julia wasn’t restricted to their families. NASCAR fans showered their best wishes on the couple as soon as Suarez shared the news online on social media.

NASCAR world showers its love on the newlywed couple

Kicking things off, NASCAR celebrated this wedding with a wholesome post via its official Instagram handle, “We couldn’t be happier. ❤️.” Jamie Little also chimed in with her best wishes, “Congratulations Daniel!!! So happy for you both.”
