Race for the Championship is a new docu-series that opens up the lives and the thought processes of the drivers and also the people involved in the top flight of NASCAR. In the latest episode, Kyle Busch appeared and candidly opened up about his contract debacle and the problems he faced with JGR this year. Fans soon were seen sympathizing with the two-time Cup Series Champion over social media.

Busch’s 2022 season playoff run ended at Bristol, where he lost his engine and was subsequently eliminated. Following the race, he stated, “I’m flabbergasted. Two engine failures in three weeks. That’ll do it to you.”

In the episode, Busch mentioned that he that as time passed on he started to feel abandoned by JGR and questioned his future. He also spoke about how JGR was like a family to him and all of a sudden, everything flipped.

As fans witnessed the episode, they were in disbelief that Busch chose to speak about the situation in such a light-hearted manner.

However, Busch is finally leaving JGR after spending 15 long years with the team to join RCR next season. Hopefully, he can call the new setting his home for years ahead.
