Dale Jr. is coming back to the broadcast booth next year! The 15-time MPD-turned-media mogul will call races on brand new contract terms for NASCAR’s latest broadcast partners, Amazon Prime and Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD), for the 2025 season. Apart from the 10 announced races next season, Junior will also contribute to a new Bleacher Report series co-produced with Dirty Mo Media Network, which will have him interview guests from each of TNT’s five NASCAR Cup Series broadcasts.

In an official release, Dale Jr. stated, “It is an exciting opportunity to have the chance to give our NASCAR fan base yet another way to watch the sport. It will be exciting to see the innovation.” A seven-year deal with Amazon and TNT Sports will see them broadcast on Prime Video, TNT, truTV, and the Max streaming platform.

News of the development sent a jolt through the NASCAR fanbase, breaking the monotony of the broadcast lull. Thousands flocked to official social media channels to buzz about the latest updates.

SBJ’s Adam Stern’s initial announcement read, ”@PrimeVideo and @WBD today are formally confirming they have signed @DaleJr in separate broadcast deals to become part of their NASCAR booth talent starting in 2025… Earnhardt to also participate in a @BleacherReport digital/social content series co-produced by @DirtyMoMedia.”

Fans made their thoughts heard on Stern’s post, stating, “So glad that @DaleJr is still going to be broadcasting. He brings so much to the table; I can’t believe @NASCARonNBC let him go.”

But wider claims speculated that Dale Jr.’s move to a streaming platform might be financially lucrative, stating now that our favorite racing legend “got that $$$” offered by the various monetization opportunities of newer streaming platforms. However, this shift might force viewers to subscribe to multiple services to follow their entire NASCAR season.
