For the first time this season, the NASCAR series had a qualifying session. Up until then, the spot has been relying on a special formula to decide the grid slots. However on this occasion, the drivers took part in heat races to decide the grid. However, everything got interrupted when the rain fell and forced its cancellation.

Nevertheless, they still managed to set up a grid for the race. So, John Hunter Nemechek heads the pack, with Austin Hill alongside him on the front row. Sheldon Creed and Matt Crafton share the second row on the grid, ahead of Johnny Sauter and Zane Smith.

Stewart Friesen and Grant Enfinger line up on the eighth row. Finally, Ben Rhodes and Brett Moffitt complete the Top 10. Carson Hocevar, Derek Kraus, Todd Gilliland, Ryan Truex, Martin Truex Jr and Parker Kligerman complete the Top 16. Additionally, Austin Wayne Self and Tanner Gray line up in 17th and 18th, with Tyler Ankrum and Codie Rohrbaugh in 19th and 20th.

How does the rest of the NASCAR Truck Series grid line up?

On Row 11, Chandler Smith starts ahead of Hailie Deegan. Chase Purdy and Tate Fogleman line up behind the two in an all-Chevrolet 12th row. There are also a number of Cup Series drivers who are competing in the Truck race. Daniel Suarez is the first one among them, in 26th place, ahead of Danny Bohn.

Kyle Larson starts in 28th, behind Timothy Peters and ahead of Raphael Lessard and Kevin Harvick. Bubba Wallace lines up in 32nd place, ahead of Chase Briscoe in 33rd, the last of the Cup drivers. Additionally, Myatt Snider from the Xfinity Series is also competing in the Truck event and will start in 37th place. Unfortunately, Ryan Newman failed to qualify for the race, along with Trevor Collins, Jessica Friesen and JR Heffner.
