After, Bubba Wallace’s call NASCAR might put a ban on all confederate flags during the races soon. Wallace made a stern statement on national television asking the series to ban confederate flags in the race venues. Bubba was talking to CNN about the ongoing protests against racial discrimination.

Today, renowned NASCAR journalist Adam Stern reveals that NASCAR might consider changing its policy on the flag soon. He writes, @NASCAR is actively considering a change to its confederate flag policy, per sources, as calls grow for the series to permanently ban the symbol from its facilities.”

In the CNN interview, he said, “No one should feel uncomfortable when they come to a NASCAR race. It starts with confederate flags. Get them out of here. They have no place for them.”

He added, “There’s going to be a lot of angry people that carry those flags proudly but it’s time for a change. We have to change that, and I encourage NASCAR to have those conversations to remove those flags.”

Bubba Wallace is the only African-American driver in the premier series of NASCAR. Recently, he opened up about his childhood memories of discrimination. Additionally, Bubba talked about the incident of police brutality against his cousin when he was a child.

NASCAR sent a strong message against discrimination at Atlanta

During the Cup Series race at Atlanta, NASCAR presented a strong message in support of the ongoing protests against racial discrimination. The series president made a public statement condemning any act of discrimination and called out all the drivers, staff, and fans to stand up against it.

After that, NASCAR broadcasted a video with drivers talking about the issue and showing their support. Many drivers are now giving their individual comments on the issue and standing up against racial discrimination.
