As per the 2024 NASCAR rulebook, there won’t be a practice session for any of the three series on superspeedway tracks throughout the season. Owing to this, the events for Ambetter Health 400 would kickstart with the single-lap run by a single-car qualifying on Saturday that would eventually lead to the main 400-mile race on Sunday.
With the schedule being apprised, it is time to look at the drivers who are set to contend for the race.
List of drivers
Apart from the regular faces of the Cup Series roster, a few new faces are set to brace the track of Atlanta, which includes Kaulig Racing’s Josh Williams.
The driver, after being promoted to the Cup Series in the 2024 season, would pilot the #16 Chevrolet for the second time, after making his debut in the exhibition race at LA Memorial Coliseum for the Busch Clash.
Apart from Williams, Kaz Grala and BJ McLeod would also rev their engines on the track of Atlanta Motor Speedway. Grala, who faced an early departure in the Daytona 500, would be competing in the second race of the season for Rick Ware Racing driving the #15 Ford Mustang.
On the other hand, BJ Mcleod’s #78 would be the only uncharted entry in the race representing his own NASCAR team, after failing to qualify for the Daytona 500.
