Recently, rapper Pitbull spoke to Jeff Gordon and Clint Bowyer about his new NASCAR venture. To be precise, the Florida native is a part-team owner of the Team Trackhouse Racing outfit. Sadly for the team, their Daytona 500 ended in tears because Daniel Suarez got eliminated early in a crash. In light of that, team co-owner Justin Marks admitted that they needed a combination of skill and luck.
Marks also insisted that he and Pitbull are proud of the team’s efforts and that he is excited to work with the rapper. Speaking of Pitbull, he was glad that his driver, Daniel Suarez, was alright. However, what happened on the track, happened and nothing can change the result.
Pitbull also said, “What finally brought us together was Daniel Suarez. I’ve known Daniel for about 10 years, a family down in Mexico talked about him. When we got together, there’s no hidden agenda, we’re here to win. He was running a great race, till what happened.

Obviously, the rapper was truly excited because the Daytona 500 is an iconic NASCAR race. Of course, the crash did not help matters, but he can take comfort in the fact that the driver gets a second chance at the road course. After that, the paddock remains in Florida, but heads to the Homestead-Miami Speedway. In essence, the Homestead race is home soil for Pitbull, so he would love to see Daniel Suarez get a good result at the race track.
