3CHI has ended the speculation spree regarding their association with Kyle Busch for the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season. The hemp-based consumable and therapeutic product company will be back as the primary sponsor for Rowdy’s No.8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The updates regarding the number of races and schedule for 3CHI’s feature on No.8 are expected to be announced soon.
Prior to this sponsorship deal, Busch and RCR did rope in the likes of Lucas Oil, Cheddar’s and Rebel Bourbon to back his campaign for 2024. However, there were no signs of 3CHI returning to RCR. With this announcement, both RCR and the company will look to continue its first-of-its-kind partnership in NASCAR for 2024 and beyond.

Entering the new era and wave of sponsorship, RCR is paving the way and showing other teams how it is done. This was a unique undertaking by the team to add a cannabis-based product company as a primary sponsor. But it pretty much worked out well. 2023 was the inception year of the idea that such business deals have a place in NASCAR and 2024 will see this collaboration take the next big steps.
Torey Galida, the President of RCR after penning the new partnership with 3CHI, said, “Much like RCR, 3CHI has been a pioneer in their industry while focusing on technology and innovation. Through their partnership with RCR, 3CHI has been able to highlight their innovative spirit and introduce their products to a new and passionate fan base. We’re proud to continue the relationship in 2024.”
CEO of 3CHI, Justin Journay, added, “Our relationship with Richard Childress Racing continues to take 3CHI to higher levels. On-track, it’s been fun to see the success of the No. 8 team and Kyle Busch, and off-track it’s been incredibly powerful to showcase the best cannabis company in the world and highlight 3CHI’s vast array of cannabinoid products and science-backed formulations.”

The Great American Race is the biggest race of the NASCAR season. With the amount of exposure the event produces, brands are eager to put themselves in front of the masses. Tobacco products are not new to sponsorship deals in the sport but a company pushing for tobacco-free, smoke-free products, is indeed new. Zone is that company and they will be serving as the primary sponsor for Kyle Busch, No. 8 team at the Daytona 500.
Rishi Dhingra, executive vice president of marketing for ITG Brands, the parent company of Zone expressing his delight, said, “Partnering with Richard Childress Racing, Kyle Busch and the No. 8 team is a natural fit for zone, whose demographic of adult nicotine consumers overlaps with NASCAR’s core audience. Kyle Busch and Richard Childress are true champions in every sense of the word, and we know they will do a great job representing zone.”
