It was back in 2007 when Frankie Muniz decided to put his acting career on hold and follow his passion for motorsports. His first step in professional racing was the open-wheel racing experience, competing in Atlantic Championship. He was consistent in his three years of racing in the event and managed his best P9 finish. Transitioning into stock car racing, he joined Rette Jone Racing in 2023 and competed in the ARCA Menards Series. Fast forward just 12 months, he is now looking at the prospect of racing at Daytona in the Xfinity Series opener on Feb 17.

Understanding the steep learning that lay ahead of him, Muniz is determined to make the most of this opportunity. “Moving up to Xfinity is a big leap for me, given my limited experience in stock cars. I understand the challenges ahead and know it will not always be easy. I want to thank Wayne Auton and Brett Bodine at NASCAR for believing in me and allowing me to compete in the Xfinity Series this season.”
