As the 2024 NASCAR season is right around the corner, teams are pulling in more and more sponsors by the day. Richard Childress Racing and Kyle Busch have been on a signing spree, bringing in several partners over the course of the last few weeks. Recently, John Hunter Nemechek and Legacy Motor Club brought in multiple partners in one fell swoop. But perhaps the team that has done the job better than anybody in the recent past is the one owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Junior is co-owner of the highly successful NASCAR Xfinity Series team, JR Motorsports. It was recently announced that the 3-time Xfinity Series champions have acquired partnership deals with a whopping 26 brands for the #9 team of Brandon Jones ahead of the start of the 2024 Xfinity Series campaign.

The catalyst in this massive deal was none other than Menards. The company has had a long-standing relationship with Dale Earnhardt Jr and that relationship has paid dividends, especially for Brandon Jones. Among the 26 companies signed by the team are the likes of Scotts Lawn and Garden Products, Criterion Appliances, Cheez-It snacks, and Char Broil grills.

Speaking about the deal, Menards spokesperson Jeff Abbott spoke highly of the company’s motorsports program which never fails to attract the best of sponsors. The Menards name has indeed become synonymous with American motorsports in the past several years. If you think about it, it’s no wonder that they were able to pull something like this off.

“The motorsports program at Menards has always been very popular with our partners and we’re thrilled to have 26 different companies choose to be part of the upcoming season with Brandon Jones, JR Motorsports, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series,” Abbott said, as per JRM’s official website. “We will strive to continue to deliver winning value for our customers in association with our racing partners,” the official further added.

Menards has introduced 5 new partners for the 2024 Xfinity sponsorship program – Franklin-Little Giant pumps, Spectracide lawn and garden products, BestAir Filters, SunnyD beverages, and Dawn Dish soap. While it has not been confirmed during which races all of the partners will be featured on the car, the plans for some were revealed on the JR Motorsports website.

The problem with having so many sponsors is featuring every single one of them in the season. Hence, it will definitely be interesting to see how the team goes about this dilemma.

The 2024 Xfinity Series will begin on February 17 at the Daytona International Speedway. JR Motorsports team will be looking to get off to a good start after missing out on the title last year.
