Ross Chastain clearly and undoubtedly stopped the show at the very last lap of Martinsville. The ‘watermelon‘ man showed the entire NASCAR community what a true “Video Game Move” really is. And the way he moved up 5 places, he has the perfect example to teach centrifugal force to his future children. But this also ties in with Bubba Wallace.

Both the drivers pulled out moves that you would only see on video games. But both with pretty drastic intentions.

In a recent episode of the Kenny Wallace show, the host talked about the iconic move he pulled this year to propel him into the championship of 4. But he also revealed something very fascinating, which is how it relates to Bubba’s move on Kyle Larson in Vegas.

Kenny said, “This kind of ties with the Bubba Wallace story, and maybe goes ahead of it.”, “I hate to say it because I don’t like giving a lot of credit to Video Games because you can always hit the reset button,”

Essentially, he’s implying what we discussed earlier because both the drivers have pulled video game moves. Especially with the risk, because you can’t get hurt in NASCAR Heat 5, but in real life, you are gonna get hurt. And he talks about Chastain confessing that it did hurt him.

The host added, “Ross Chastain said afterwards, and I don’t think he meant to say it. He says after I did that my head kind of hurt, rung  my bell.”

What’s more fascinating is Kyle Larson somehow ends up in the limelight in the Video Game moves by the drivers.

Kyle Larson calls Ross Chastain embarrassing after being assaulted by Bubba Wallace

Larson was famously a victim of Wallace’s genius move of literally crashing a driver on a corner mid-race at over 170 mph. But interestingly, he also ended up in the center of Chastain’s move as he called it out.

He said, “I think that’s not a good look for our sport. I don’t know what you guys think, probably think it’s cool, but it was pretty embarrassing,” he emphasized.

When questioned why he thought it was a bad look for NASCAR, Larson questioned back, “Why do you think it’s a good look?”
