Former Wood Brothers Racing driver Harrison Burton is ready to kickstart his season in the Xfinity Series with AM Racing. With the opening weekend of the season at Daytona edging close with every passing day, the #25 team has been busy preparing for the big weekend. After finding the replacement for Hailie Deegan, AM Racing has now brought in a new sponsor for the #25 team.
Dead On Tools will partner with Harrison Burton and AM Racing for a 10-race primary sponsorship for the 2025 season. However, this new partnership was more than just business, as the DOT handed a special gift to Burton that will remind him of his infamous broken tooth.

In 2022, Burton posted a photo on X, talking about how he chipped his tooth as a kid and glued it together, however, the glue gave in that day, leading to a hilarious photo, now honored by his new sponsor. Dead On Tools is a familiar brand for NASCAR fans who have seen them featured on several cars and trucks. But the company seems to be stepping up and has joined AM Racing to support Harrison Burton’s No. 25 ride this season. “Super excited to announce that @deadontools is gonna be aboard as a primary sponsor for this year with @amracingnascar can’t wait to get to work!” The former WBR driver shared this on social media.
The No. 25 Ford Mustang will have a cool paint scheme of black and white colors with Dead On Tools brands on the hood and the side panels. Not only that, but Burton received a special package: a cool-looking helmet that had the skeleton teeth imprinted on it. However, the front tooth on the skeleton was broken, and this detail was added on purpose.
“And yes the broken tooth on the @deadontools helmet is an exact replica of the Infamous Daytona tooth break.” Harrison Burton shared this on Instagram stories, thus highlighting the special feature on his new helmet. Apart from the Daytona race, Dead On Tools will feature on the #25 car at Las Vegas, Martinsville, Texas, Charlotte, the Chicago Street Race, Gateway, and Phoenix.

Wade Moore, the president of AM Racing, also shared his take on their new sponsorship deal and spoke highly about Burton’s addition to the team. “It’s been an extremely productive offseason. We’ve made changes that we believe will make the 2025 season a year to remember. I’m incredibly proud of our entire team. We are thrilled about the addition of Harrison, and AM Racing is grateful to kick off our new relationship in Daytona with an anchor partner like Dead On Tools, who continues to increase its support and dedication to the sport.”
AM Racing had a torrid 2024 NASCAR outing that was mired with controversy and a lack of good results on the racetrack. However, with the former Cup Series winner in their lineup, they will be hoping to be competitive and realistically aim to reach the playoffs.

After spending three years at the Cup level, the 24-year-old driver had to take a humble route and step down in the Xfinity Series. In his first two seasons with Wood Brothers Racing, he only managed three top 10 and a single top 5 result, which wasn’t good enough for the team. 2024 looked to follow the same trajectory which forced the team into making driver changes and announcing that Josh Berry would lead the No. 21 team in 2025.
Despite the heartbreaking news, Burton kept up head up and his hard work finally paid off at Daytona as he clinched his maiden Cup Series win. He ended the season on a good note and finished 16th in the overall standings, which was his best-ever run yet. Now, Burton might have struggled to compete for wins at the Cup level, but he was a regular contender while racing for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Xfinity Series.
During the 2020 season, Burton led the #20 team to four Xfinity Series victories and ended the season with an eight-place finish. Not to forget, he had eleven top 5 finishes that highlighted how dominant the team was. In 2023, he maintained a similar consistency and once again finished the season in eighth place but the wins had dried up. After this, Burton jumped ship and joined the Ford team and Wood Brothers Racing in the Cup Series.
