It seems that American author Nick Adams is continuing his crusade against Bubba Wallace. The 23XI Racing driver seemingly shut up many critics when he triumphed at the Kansas Speedway. Sure, an argument could have been made for his Talladega win because it had rained over there. However, the Kansas race was bone dry and Wallace raced his heart out to win.
Unfortunately, it was still not enough for Adams, who believed that Wallace ‘cheated’ by switching to the #45 car. He also insinuated that the driver was ‘riding on Donald Trump’s coattails’. Naturally, he got brutally shut down by many fans, and one of them was NASCAR spotter Brett Griffin.
This guy literally knows zero about what he’s talking about. Why comment if you’re this uninformed or this ignorant? Here’s to you:https://t.co/vmwvRp2775 https://t.co/870BlZecH8 pic.twitter.com/r9t3KVOKjO

By all accounts, Wallace enjoyed a great day in the office at the Kansas Speedway. He qualified in sixth place and hung around with the leaders all race long. When the opportunity arose to snatch the race lead, Wallace did not hesitate and pounced immediately. After that, he held onto the lead and even built a healthy gap to his rivals.
Admittedly, Denny Hamlin began reeling him in in the closing laps, and looked threatening. However, Hamlin soon ran out of laps and Bubba Wallace reached Victory Lane for the second time in his career. It is also interesting to note that the #45 car triumphed at both visits to the Kansas Speedway in the same season.

Wallace’s win makes him the 18th different race winner this season, in what has been an unpredictable year. Unfortunately for him, his win comes when the Playoffs are already on, and he did not qualify. On the other hand, teammate Kurt Busch did but has since been sidelined due to his concussion. Since Busch’s car is still eligible for Playoff points, the team decided to allow Bubba Wallace to drive the #45 car.
