He said, “This new car, that you’re probably having to drive differently than anything you ever drove before.”
“So there’s a lot of adaptation. A lot of drivers have trouble with new, new things. But all those things said, in my eyes, are not the biggest hurdle.”
“The biggest hurdle is the driving etiquette”
If you had to interpret it one way, it could be a small dig at Ross Chastain and his aggression on track. This year alone, he has clashed multiple times with many of his fellow rivals. Chastain isn’t the only one guilty of this, as there are many other drivers who are just as aggressive.

Harvick has also had some square-offs with the likes of Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, Ty Dillon, and Kyle Busch among others. More often than not, the feuds escalated into fights, on and off the track. As long as Harvick can steer clear of the aggressive drivers and avoid wrecks, he should be fine.
Heading into the next race at Watkins Glen, the Stewart-Haas Racing driver will be keen to keep up his hot streak. He has a reasonable track record at the circuit because he won the race in 2006. However, there are plenty of drivers who have better track records on the racetrack, like Kyle Busch and Chase Elliott, having 2 wins each.

Harvick knows that it is up to him to try to ensure that no new driver snatches victory on Sunday. Although he is relatively safe from elimination, it affects his overall position in the standings.
