If we are to go by the trailer, the tale looks gripping, intense, and raw, thus notching up the anticipation furthermore until the series is finally live by January 30. Playing the roles of protagonist and antagonist at the same time, the likes of Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Ross Chastain, Denny Hamlin, Bubba Wallace, and the other five drivers will complete the cast of the much-hyped series. While a total of 16 drivers make up the playoff rounds for the NASCAR Cup Series, only 9 of the drivers are featured in the series Full-Speed. So which drivers are not featured in the Netflix series despite their impressive stints last season? Here are some notable names.
First is runner-up Kyle Larson, who had four wins throughout the season, and if not for Ryan Blaney, he would have added another championship to his name after 2021. Second is the two-time Cup champion Kyle Busch, who, after jumping ships from JGR to RCR, had a season to forget. The third major miss will be Chase Elliot, who missed out on seven races last season due to a leg injury and suspension. Rubbing salt to his wounds, owing to the missed race and inconsistent performances, Elliot missed out on the playoffs for the first time in his career. In addition, the 2023 Regular Season Champion, Martin Truex Jr., also missed out on a feature in the eagerly awaited docuseries.

Brad Keselowski and his teammate, Chris Buescher, who did finish the season on a good note, are also two of the major absentees from the Netflix docuseries. Moving on, Kevin Harvick, who has now called it time from racing in NASCAR, is also among the prominent names who will be missed in the docuseries by Netflix. Other noteworthy misses will be Ty Gibbs and Alex Bowman, who failed to secure their place in the playoffs last season.
Such docuseries by Netflix on other sports have been hugely successful, and the same is expected to be the case for NASCAR’s own Full-Speed
