Today, NASCAR Cup Series returns to Atlanta for the NASCAR Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. The race was originally scheduled for March 15.
The race will start at 3:00 PM EST at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and will broadcast live on Fox. The 1.54-mile speedway will host the 500-mile race and will have 305 laps. And the race will have three stages of around 100 laps each. As per weather reports, there are slim chances of rain and the weather will be sunny.

Local hero Chase Elliott will start from the pole alongside Stewart-Haas Racing driver Aric Almirola. Joey Logano and Kyle Busch will follow Chase closely at P3 and P4. Notably, Chase was involved in incidents with both Logano and Kyle in the past few races. And both of them will attempt to even the score with Chase. Additionally, last week’s race winner Brad Keselowski starts at number 6 alongside Clint Bowyer. and followed by Ryan Blaney.

NASCAR and Atlanta Motor Speedway’s charity auction is live
Today, to commemorate the Fold of Honor QuikTrip 500 the AMS and NASCAR are organizing an online auction to raise money for the US Veterans. Many items like ‘luxury suite passes for the 2021 Atlanta race’ and a ‘virtual meet and greet with Ryan Newman’ are up for auction. Additionally, you can place your bids to win some unique NASCAR memorabilia. The online auction started on June 5th and will end tomorrow morning.

After that, AMS will announce the winners on Monday. And will donate the money to the Folds of Honor’s fund for the US veterans. As per their website, “The fund provides aid and scholarships to the spouses and children of America’s fallen or disabled service members.”
