Seems like Jeff Gordon‘s social media handle could use a lot of work! And the reason why this has caught the community’s attention is because of how there’s been a pattern to the tweets coming out of Gordon’s official X account. Now it is unclear whether the former Cup Series champion himself handles his account or if he has someone taking care of social media for him. But that’s irrelevant at this point because NASCAR fans have found a way to make fun of the whole thing anyway!
Jeff Gordon has a social media problem that needs sorting
The current Hendrick Motorsports vice chairman is one of the most popular NASCAR drivers of all time, so it’s no wonder that fans keep an eye on his social media activity. One such eagle-eyed fan noticed how every tweet from the retired veterans X account has repetitively begun with “What a”. And in true NASCAR fashion, that’s all it took for other fans to channel their inner Jeff Gordons and comment in the exact same way.

The name of the account that shared this detail was Gabe Herschel. They shared screenshots of the 4-time Cup Series champion’s recent tweets and captioned the post, “Whoever is running Jeff Gordon’s account needs to look up a new way to start his tweets.” And to be fair, he makes a fairly good point.

In today’s day and age, maintaining a good social media presence is imperative, especially if you’re a big-time Hendrick Motorsports executive. But the damage has already been done in the most hilarious way, and perhaps this fan reaction will change things for the former Cup Series driver’s official X handle.

Almost all of the comments started the same way Jeff Gordon starts his tweets. One user wrote, “What a Legend! What else would you expect! What a time to be a Hendrick fan!” Another fan simply wrote, “What a guy.” That was not the end of it, not by a long shot. One fan predicted that this was exactly how Gordon wanted fans to begin their tweets as well. That’s obviously a sarcastic claim but it was hilarious nonetheless.
“What does this mean What I’m looking is that Jeff wants us to say is What a,” they commented. Another user quipped that it was actually a great way to start writing tweets. “What a great start to each tweet.”
