NASCAR Hall of Famer and the co-owner of JR Motorsports, Dale Earnhardt Jr’s recent comments on the future of JR Motorsports caused a big stir among NASCAR fans.

As confirmation came in stating that Noah Gragson would be moving to the Cup Series next year, JR motorsports are headed for a scramble to find their next driver. According to a Twitter user, Dale Jr was heard saying, “We’re deep into discussions with an opportunity to fill that car next year.”
NASCAR fans took to Twitter to speculate who could be next to fill up the soon-to-be empty seat of Noah Gragson.

Gragson will be heading out to the NASCAR Cup series next season. Meanwhile, JR Motorsports has to act fast to get themselves another driver who can help the team push for wins next year.
Noah Gragson to race for Petty GMS in the 2023 Cup Series season

Gragson has been confirmed to be moving into the world of Cup Series racing, alongside the big boys. He signed a contract with the Petty GMS who recently made their foray into the Cup Series as a team.
Gragson will be running the Chevrolet of the current Petty GMS driver, Ty Dillon from next season. Gragson spoke in an interview regarding his big promotion, where he stated, “With where I am at right now with my racing career and JR Motorsports, how that operation is run, the whole atmosphere they have. That’s kind of what I see over here at Petty GMS. It’s a family atmosphere, great people, great leaders, and for a 24-year-old guy, for them to take the opportunity and want to hire me, it is truly humbling.”
